Independent now pushing Nestoria

Very big news today in the world of 2.0 property search as Nestoria announces they're now powering The Independent property search on their just launched revamped website:
"It’s great to see a traditional brand embracing a web2.0 approach generally and working with a small start up like us," according to the Nestoria blog. So far to my knowledge this is the biggest media partnership deal for any European 2.0 property search engine.

BTW, I've amended the original post to read "the biggest media partnership deal for any European 2.0 property search engine" as opposed to "the biggest media partnership deal for any European 2.0 search engine" which is what I originally wrote. I think Duncan was responding to my original statement, and I agree that Oodle's media deals so far are probably way bigger, given that the online properties of both the Sun and EMAP have more combined traffic that the Independent Online (I think)

Propertyfinder have user generated content and a blog. They have deals with AOL, Yahoo, TimesOnline, Virgin and Tiscali to name a few. It all depends on your definition of Web 2.0.

I do like Nestoria. They have a good business model and high quality content. It certainly is a big deal. Thanks for the heads-up.

Hi Harvey,

you're right the Independent is a big deal for us, but it's only one of several. On Friday we announced our partnership with Channel4. More details on our blog:
